As the days begin to shorten and the nights start to chill, a certain aroma fills the air. Some go for the cotton candy, others to see the animals, but no matter your reason there is something for everyone at the local fair.

 There are currently 109 fairs sponsored by the Pennsylvania State Association of County Fairs. With my camera by my side, I attempt to capture the essence of what a fair is all about. Here are some of the highlights from fairs of days gone by.
